Writing a Conclusion For an Essay PDF
Writing a Conclusion For an Essay PDFSome people may have noticed that they do not like reading a conclusion for an essay as a final exam question. I know this for I myself did not like it at all, and it makes sense. Some readers find a conclusion for an essay like this to be difficult, while others find it unintelligible. The problem with a conclusion for an essay is not the actual length of the final examination, or the fact that it is being read. The main problem is the ending, which is usually put in by the school, especially at the college level. If you are asked a conclusion for an essay, or you are reading one, then you must understand that the end comes before the start. The school takes this into consideration when writing a final exam, and if you're reading one, then you must understand that you must complete the essay before it is published. However, the ending is important because it needs to tell the reader something. For example, if you are reading an essay on the history of ancient China, you would probably want to know what happens in the conclusion. If the author says something like 'and so,' then it will be read like a question and answer. If you were reading the essay on the history of Napoleon, you would expect a better ending because it would show that Napoleon began to take control of Europe. It would not be used as a conclusion because it is a much more interesting part of the essay. It may even begin the history of the Middle East or even the relationship between the two civilizations. The main reason that ending is necessary in an essay is because the professor has to complete the homework assignments for the class. If you don't read the final exam correctly, then you can have an entire class that cannot get their homework done correctly, and they may not get the grade they need for the assignment. Another reason that ending is required is because it is sometimes needed to keep the flow of the essay, so to speak. If the author puts together several thoughts, then they must be put together into one. A conclusion for an essay, therefore, is used to keep things straight. Some people find it to be annoying because they find it difficult to follow. Many students find it difficult to read and comprehend the essay, but a good ending is necessary to make the reader understand everything that is to come. Therefore, a conclusion for an essay is required in order to make the reading flow properly.
Sample Essay Example of How You React to Ambiguity
Sample Essay Example of How You React to AmbiguitySample Essay Example of How You React to Ambiguity. This is a sample essay, that I have prepared to teach others how to react to ambiguous situations in order to make their writing stand out from the rest. Here is the scenario: you have just finished reading a very insightful article about some controversial subject matter. Now, you want to write an article about the same subject, but this time, the article is more controversial than the article that you just read. The reason why you want to write a controversial article is because your readership is very sensitive to ambiguous statements, and the article that you wrote was very ambiguous. They don't want to be mislead by you and they do not want to be taken for fools either. The first thing that you want to do is find a topic that is controversial, like the controversial article that you just read. Then, you want to write a very interesting article on the same topic, and obviously, tha t article needs to be different from the one that you just read. So, that means that the title of your article should be different from the one that you just read. After that, the third thing that you need to do is to edit your article. After you have edited your article, you will know what your readers really want, and you can come up with something fresh and original. The second part of my sample essay: 'How You React to Ambiguity', will teach you how to balance an article that is too controversial with one that is very controversial. Here is how you do it:First, you need to look at the ambiguous situation. You should be able to see that the two articles that you just read are much different from each other, but only one of them can go through the rest of the process of the reading process. The most important thing that you need to do is to decide which article to read. And the best way to do this is to look at your problem, and if there is a solution to the problem that you are fa cing, then you should start looking for it.Second, once you have seen the two articles that you just read, and you know that one is too controversial and will not go through the rest of the process of the reading process, then you should set your expectations. If the controversy that the article brings up is really something that you need to discuss, then you should at least try to discuss the article and explore its themes.Third, you need to take your reader into the next step of the process, and this is to start analyzing the ambiguous situation. Once you have analyzed the ambiguous situation, you can start thinking about what the different positions are for each of the three people who have to come up with their own interpretation. There is nothing wrong with this, as long as you have the right way of thinking, there is no harm done in looking for what is best for the situation and coming up with an article on the same topic. Just remember that writing and editing are two complete ly different processes, and both require you to look at your problem from different perspectives, and to stop and think about what you really need to write about.

Public Schools Vs. Home Schooling Essays - Education, Homeschooling
Public Schools Vs. Home Schooling When American's think of education, they almost automatically think of public education. Through the years it is slowly changing. Many parents' today are deciding to home school their children. Although most people think that a public education is better, most statistics and facts tend to show that home schooling is beneficial in more ways. It is estimated that parents are now teaching over two million children at home, rather than in public or even private schools. Education in our public schools has been on the down slope for over twenty years now. Public schools have lost all values and biblical morality. This was what our country was founded on and it has been replaced with humanism. One example of humanism in our schools is that they teach evolution, not creationism. Some people believe that this problem is happening because of the removal of God and prayer in public schools; the U.S. Supreme Court did this in 1962. Beginning in 1962, SAT scores plummeted. Teen pregnancies, teen sexual diseases, teen suicides, teen alcohol, drug abuse, pornography, and illiteracy rates abruptly increased 200 to 300 percent. Violence is one of the main factors effecting are schools today. Rape is a growing problem among juveniles. A juvenile commits one out of every five rapes that occur in the United States. There is also a higher use of drugs and alcohol among kids in public schools. Over 80 percent of public high school students drink alcohol and 45.7 percent have used marijuana. Drugs and alcohol make most people extremely violent. That is also on of the reasons why our violence and crime rates are so high. Over hundreds of millions of dollars are spend on the security of our Nation's public schools. The Seattle Times once said, In Washington, D.C., drugs and violence were such a problem in one elementary school, that the principal banned regular recess, and the children are only allowed to play outside in a pit enclosed by eight-foot concrete walls, or on a small secti on of playground monitored by the police. The disciplinary problems of children usually start even before they reach public school. In the last ten years, research shows that infants raised in daycare are more prone to behavioral problems as young children than their home-reared cousins. If you keep your child at home from the start, you will be able to discipline and raise your children with the right morals. Because so much time is spend trying to clean up and keep our schools safe, we are more or less falling behind in our education. American's are farther behind in educational status than countries such as Japan, Taiwan, and China. The teachers spend too much time on the little things and forget the real reason why the children are there. Not only that, but some of the textbooks hold inaccurate information and do not contain the whole story. Some textbooks stated that the atomic bomb ended the Korean War (instead of World War II) and that only 53,000, rather than 126,000 America ns, were killed in World War I. One book summarizes Abraham Lincoln's and George Washington's life in approximately six lines each. Not only are the wrong things written in the textbooks, they teach the children wrong values. In public school textbooks, marriage is never mentioned as the foundation of the family, and yet these books are supposed to be the textbooks that introduce the child to an understanding of American society. The idea of home schooling started many years ago, but it really began to flourish in the 1970's. For many people this was the only option, because either public schools lacked or the schools were too far away for them to attend. In the present day, there are over two million children being home schooled by their mothers and fathers, over a fifteen percent rise in home school students each year. A majority of home school students are white middle class families, but minorities are finding that this option is also better for their children rather than the pu blic schools. Some of the main factors parents find from home schooling are: the children often become more independent and more responsible with their

The Last Days of William Short essays
The Last Days of William Short essays I choose the poem: "from The Last Days of William Short." This, in my opinion is a moving work that casts the thoughts and feelings of a dying man. The poem makes me realize that there is a lot of pain, suffering and mixed thoughts when death approaches. This experience is strange to me, so I cannot trully imagine what it feels like to die (and hopefully wont know for a while). Nevertheless, the author is very successful in making me begin to understand what a dying man faces. The fact that this man is dying of AIDS doesnt appear important in the poem. It could just as well be another disease such as cancer, or even old age. The lyrics make me realize that it doesnt really matter how you die, as long as you know that you are going to die. The concept presented in the poem is trully heartbreaking: the last thoughts and feelings of a dying man. He secludes himself from the world, in the beginning: To keep my pains shaded, to divert the curious eyes. Nevertheless, as he feels death closer his cry becomes so loud: I want you to know that I have been here, I want you to remember me. It is something we all wish: to be remembered. A person dying alone is the worst thing that could happen. If nobody remembers and cries for you that your life has been in vain. At the end of our lives, what else could we desire? If people remember you then your place in eternity is set. If nobody remembers, then you will just fade away. The dying man in the poem longs so dearly for compassion: have someone close my eyes, gently. The use of the word gently, has such a powerful effect. It makes me realize the pain that this man has gone through and the relief he expects to get after death; and he cannot get that relief if nobody cares for him at the moment of his passing. ...

Marketing similation report (pirateeye marketing plan) Term Paper
Marketing similation report (pirateeye marketing plan) - Term Paper Example The target is however with the smaller boat owners, who form close to 35% of the entire market strength. A consumer behavior analysis undertaken shows that the consumer base are in high demand for high quality technology based system that can actually track pirates even before they get on board boats. This sets the basis for the marketing mix, whereby high quality products that are not too expensive are supposed to be produced for the market. The introduction of PirateEye to small boats would also serve as a very fertile breeding ground for owners of marine transport to test and comprehend the quality and value of the system. With this opportunity, it would be easier to switch to competitive marketing for larger boats and ships in the medium to long term basis. Still on the application of the STP, it will be emphasized that the business to business segmentation criteria, commonly referred to as B2B shall be used. This is because this segmentation criterion gives the marketer the oppo rtunity to assessing most aspects and areas of market including demographics, psychographic, behavioral, and environmental. This means that the B2B is a multi-dimensional approach that would help in meeting all the marketing goals set out by the company. Introduction Market penetration in the marine transport industry has never been an easy venture for new competitors. This is because of the existing competitors have already established solid brand equity and are thus very found with the consumer base. Commonly these competitors engage in the trade of boat and ship accessories, which generally helps in making the activities of boat owners easier. Not much attention has however gone to the area of transport security in terms of the activities of pirates. It is not surprising therefore that there is currently only one key competitor in the manufacture and installation of surveillance security systems for boat owners (Knill, and Tosun, 2008). This brief background gives credence to why the aim of introducing PirateEye as a market security product option for boat owners is a viable venture. The present report looks at why and how attention was given to the smaller boat market as against other segments of the market. One interesting dynamic of the target market is that there is enough research that suggests that frontrunners in the theatre industry, which form the majority of the target market, have an urgent quest and need for an immediate and coordinated technology that will address the problem of piracy in their industry. In other words, there is a ready market (Katel, 2011). Evaluation of the Targeted Market Ideally, the targeted market for the PirateEye product is the many industry players in the marine transport business. This is made up of all stakeholders who are concerned in one way or the other with the transportation of people and raw material from one place to the other. Most ideally however, owners of smaller boats shall form the core customer base of the product. A brief demographic analysis on these groups of persons suggests a very interesting trend that favors the fortunes of the company in a great deal. For example it is on record that there are over 140,000 commercial boat owners all across the globe (Billitteri, 2007). These are collectively used by more than 10,000,000 travelers on an annual basis. Reports of incidence of piracy among the general number of trips made by

Music falls Essay Example for Free
Music falls Essay This third activity was chosen because it provides the children with this means of communication, giving them the opportunity to express themselves freely. Doing this helps them progress emotionally and cognitively in all other areas of their learning. Music falls under Donaldsons construct mode, under value-sensing. She argues that emotion and thought are frequently related closely to one another (Palmer, 2001).à Neill (1927) also favoured music within the curriculum, as he alleged that it had a therapeutic function, particularly with children with psychological problems. He also acknowledged that it gave the less academically challenged pupils something they may excel at. This activity, therefore, assists in increasing the childs self esteem, giving them more confidence in other areas of the curriculum too. Differentiationà The possibilities for differentiation within this lesson are extensive. As it is a relatively free activity, the children can move as much, or as little as they like. Interaction from the practitioner could be by means of praising those who demonstrate effort and capability, or by encouraging the children to express themselves and by giving them the confidence to move as they wish. Those who do not attempt to join in could be partnered with others, to provide further encouragement and enjoyment. Evaluationà This activity provides the children with the freedom to move their bodies in ways which are normally considered inappropriate within the classroom. There is no specific way in which the children are required to move and so they have the opportunity to truly express themselves without the usual confines and barricades. Skinner (1971) believes that behaviour is not something a child is born with, it is shaped by consequences. The conditioning adopted by the setting determines the catalogue of behaviour the child has at his disposal (cited in Palmer 2001). Skinner recognised that children respond to positive re-inforcement. The practitioner in this activity praises the children, encouraging them to express themselves further. Bandura suggests that adults can gain childrens attention and highlight the behaviour patterns they want to encourage (David T et al, 2003). He suggests that the children will mimic the behaviour they see in others. In this activity, if the children see the practitioner praising one child as suggested by Skinner, their behaviour will be reinforced and this should encourage more of this behaviour. As the rest of the children bear witness to this development, Bandura suggests that they will reproduce this behaviour to gain recognition for themselves. This was apparent when watching the behaviour of the whole class. When one child became slightly over-excited and silly, others began to imitate him. The practitioner quickly took control of the situation by praising one of the children who was making slower, more gentle movements and the children responded swiftly by slowing their movements down too. Conclusion Each one of these activities proved to be successful. The children enjoyed them and were keen to stay on task throughout. The relevant areas and aspects of learning were adequately covered and the children gained a great deal from participating. From carrying out this research, it is apparent that it is necessary for practitioners to plan their scheme of work effectively in order to guarantee that the foundation stage curriculum is covered throughout the year. This work has examined the long, medium and short term plans and has explained why they are used. It has researched the emergence of the foundation stage curriculum and the ways it can be adapted and moulded to fit into many different types of early years settings. Using the three activities this work has established the theoretical underpinning of the curriculum and demonstrates the strategies which can be applied to differentiate the experiences effectively.
